Welcome

This month see's the start of our art club "Arty Andover", a place where local artists can meet up; socialise; and learn about different genres of art.

Details will be published here shortly but for now, you can find a brief overview below.

If you would like to receive updates and your copy of our Newsletter, you will find the link further below. Newsletter readers will be offered a chance to apply for club membership, before places are offered more widely.

Overview

 Our club, Arty Andover, will follow the following format.
This is not set in concrete but just to get us going. Members will be asked for their ideas on how things can be improved.

 Meetings

Club meetings will take place every six weeks at a local venue in town.
The theme for club meeting will vary and will include guest artists who will introduce us to different genres and techniques, perhaps even a chance to 'have a go.'

Other meetings, members will be invited to give a short talk about their art or a piece of their artwork.

All meetings will include time to mingle and chat with other members; view artwork displayed and exchange ideas.

Events

A number of events are planned in addition to the regular club meetings which includes, local galleries; exhibitions and taking part in local creative events.

Members Space

Wall space has been obtained to display members artwork, which will be rotated throughout the year.

Members can have images of their artwork posted on their members page, together with additional information and links to their social media and websites.
 

Club Membership

Club membership will be limited by the capacity of the venue.
If spaces are available, non-members will be able to book to join a particulat meeting.
